TecHour: Experiences on How Distree help Startups and SME

This week we had Mr Christophe Painvin, Executive Director, International Business Director of Distree Paris HQ office. He shared with us his experiences on how Distree has helped startups and SME gain the additional advantage in extending their business to beyond our shores.


Distree is a 15 years old Paris based company in B2B technology events worldwide. They provide vendors ( MNCs, SMEs and startups) a platform to demonstrate their products and to seek out new business partnerships. Distree invited audiences are distributors/resellers/retail owners/airport stores/lifestyle-wellness operators, looking for new products to distribute or resell in their respective countries.


Distree has an interesting model where Distree pays for their invited channel partners' hotel accommodation and meals during the duration of the events. The Startup or SME just need to bring their products, sample and marketing materials to Distree events. Distree events are pre iMAP approved by IE Singapore ie up to 70% subsidy for locally Singapore registered company.
